Is shopping at www.megapc.com secure?
Yes. Our ordering systems makes use of the highest encryption available, 128-bit, which makes it practically impossible for anybody to intercept information sent in any way.
If you would like to make sure you are on a secure page, such as the Basket, Checkout or My Account pages, click on the small yellow lock on the bottom right part of the window and you will be able to see the security certificate information. Alternatively, you can right-click on the page and go to Properties, and you should see the connection type as SSL 3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange. If the page is not secure, it will be shown Not Encrypted.
In some exceptional cases, you may find yourself on a secure page, however the small yellow lock may be absent. In such case, verify the page is secure by going to the Properties of the respective page, as mentioned above, or by checking that the website address, in the address bar, starts with "https://" and not with "http://". The presence of the "s" indicates you are on a secure connection.
What methods of payment are accepted?
You can pay for your orders using Shopify payments, Visa, Mastercard or through the Paypal system. Our website integrates Paypal technology to streamline the ordering process, for your convenience. However, if you wish to manually send payment via Paypal, you may send it at email@example.com .
What is the warranty on the products I purchase?
All our products are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Depending on the product, and whether it is an OEM or a RETAIL product, there is a 30-day or one-year warranty for it. Mega PC will cover any expenses related to the replacement of the product for a period of 30-days from the time of purchase.
Can I return a product that I have purchased?
You may return a product only if it is unopened, in its original packaging. For more information, or for defective items, visit the Returns Policy and Conditions page.
What are your shipping methods?
For convenience purposes and for the peace of mind of our customers we use Canada Post as our default shipping company.
What are the shipping rates?
Our website uses an intelligent shopping cart system which will automatically calculate the shipping rate for the products you have in your basket. This ensures that you will pay the precise rate, according to the products you purchase, thus avoiding to pay a large fee for a small product. You need to be logged in and have the correct postal code specified in your account profile for the shipping rate to be available and correct. In-store pickups are not available for online orders.
I am interested in a product that is not on the website. Can you help me?
While we put a lot of effort into having our catalog as complete as possible, some products that exist on the market may not be posted on our website. Nevertheless, we will most likely be able to order them for you. Hence, if you are interested in a product which does not figure on the website, simply either:
